Brea my after-care Nurse was next level, she really knows her stuff and made me feel on top of the world with all my check in visits. This review has been almost three years in the making. In May 2023, I had my hair transplant with The Hair Doctors. Like most people, I was extremely apprehensive about shaving my head and about the procedure itself.

Three years on, it’s genuinely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. There aren’t many opportunities in life where you can spend money to remove a mental infliction, so if you’re hesitating for any reason, I’d say set those worries aside and go for it.

From the consultation to the day of the operation, through recovery and ongoing support, everything was five-star. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more or speak more highly of every part of the journey. Huge thanks to the entire team.

I recently had my hair transplant procedure done at Hair Doctors Bondi, and after going through the entire process — from consultation to surgery and now early recovery — I can confidently say this was one of the best medical experiences I’ve had.
From the moment I booked my initial consultation, the clinic stood out for its professionalism and transparency. The consultation was thorough and informative, not rushed in any way. The team took the time to assess my hair loss properly, explain the different options available, and set realistic expectations about density, coverage, and long-term outcomes. There was absolutely no pressure to commit on the spot, which I appreciated greatly. It felt like they genuinely cared about making sure I was comfortable and well informed before making a decision.
I was originally scheduled for my procedure in May, however roughly a week after my consultation I received a call from the clinic advising there had been a cancellation and that an earlier date was available. The communication was clear, professional, and flexible, and I was able to move my procedure forward significantly. I’m extremely glad I took that opportunity, and the way the clinic handled the rescheduling was seamless and stress-free.
The procedure itself involved 4,511 grafts and was nurse-led, which was a major positive for me. The nursing team were outstanding — highly skilled, calm, reassuring, and incredibly attentive throughout the entire day. They explained each stage of the process as it happened, checked in constantly to make sure I was comfortable, and made what could have been an intimidating experience feel very controlled and manageable.
While it is a long day, the procedure was far more comfortable than I had anticipated. Pain was minimal and very well managed, and I always felt that my comfort and wellbeing were the top priority. The environment at the clinic is clean, modern, and well organised, which adds a lot of confidence when undergoing a procedure of this scale.
What really stood out to me was the attention to detail and the care taken with both the recipient and donor areas. Nothing felt rushed, and the team clearly take pride in the quality of their work. It was obvious that they are experienced in what they do and focused on achieving the best possible long-term result rather than just getting through the day.
Post-procedure, I was given very clear and detailed aftercare instructions, both verbally and in writing. This made the recovery process feel far less overwhelming, as I knew exactly what to do, what to avoid, and what was normal during the healing stages. Any follow-up questions I had were answered promptly and professionally, which provided a lot of reassurance in the days following surgery.
Although I am still in the early stages of recovery, I am already very happy with how smooth the entire process has been and how supported I’ve felt throughout. Based on the level of care, communication, professionalism, and overall experience, I have complete confidence in the results to come.
