Communication: When I started to be confident my results would not improve I had to reach out to 3 different listed emails for this location and threaten to leave a poor review before I finally got a "Those emails are deactivated" response for a representative and a promise to just wait longer to see finished results. They did promise me a follow up if after the ascribed 18 months I was still dissatisfied. My responses were always curt but supportive in a "public service" kind of flavor. Follow ups after the procedure come in the form of generic emails of instructions of what to do month to month but they tout being available for questions if needed.

Service: For $10,000 I had 1600 grafts relocated which is a HUGE price compared to where I went to get this problem corrected which I will discuss later. Again, the representative promised me the chance of another procedure with the team (yes the same ones that did the poor work initially) if they determined that the first procedure was not deemed to have been my own fault. After some light communication I was ensured a hasty procedure appointment date after the follow up but when I pushed harder asking for exact timelines several times as the date got closer the answer changed to "Well it depends on if we need to do the procedure and how many grafts we will move. It could be a month before your next procedure at the earliest" This was after I had saved and submit work leave to use for the recovery timeframe after the procedures. It was at this point I completely opted out saying I had lost trust in this location and would be submitting this review to warn others away s well which made the representative VERY defensive. it seemed like the only time I could get this organization to care about me and my poor results was when their ratings were threatened.

Procedure: Overall the staff was friendly but pushy. The doctor quickly came in, drew lines on my head and then tried to walk out of the room without my input. I had to ask him to adjust the drawn hairline as I wanted something more natural looking and closer to what I had actually had as a hairline in my younger days. To his credit he came back and redrew it. I only ever "heard from him two more times as he came to check up on the progress and say vague things like "looks good" to his team before stepping out of the room again. He came in at the end to show me the results in a mirror and then leave never to be seen again.

The Fix: I have since now undergone a second procedure outside of the US. For this procedure they instead got me 2,600 grafts at the price point of around 3350 Euros or around $4,000 US. This includes hotel stay and a few meals (breakfast and procedure day). You pay for your own plane ticket but even with that cost this is a much more manageable price per graft. When my procedure was coming up they put me into a group chat with an ENTIRE TEAM of individuals to help coordinate my travel, procedure and recovery who responded promptly, sometimes even late at night when I had travel delays. I am currently on week 2 of recovering and the results are night and day difference.
BLUF: Do not use this location for you procedure. You will feel like a wallet and once emptied rushed to be treated and sent on your way. I already expect them to send a canned response of "sorry for your dissatisfaction" but this review is to save others from mustering the courage to take this risk and ending disappointed and out a large sum of money. Go outside of the US. Its is mildly more inconvenient with travel but 10x better for you.

I probably could have posted this at the 6-month mark, but I wanted to wait until a full year after the procedure.

I'm not sure why I waited so long to look into doing something like this... but as one of my friends said, it's a freaking medical miracle. Worrying about how my hair looked took up a ton of space in my head. Getting a hair transplant was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The Bosely KC team, Dr. Simmons, and Tasha made this a phenomenal experience. If you are looking into getting this procedure done, I can't recommend this place more. I've added some pictures because... sometimes you have to see it to believe it.

Everything has went so smoothly and easy from having the transplant to the follow up appointments. And I could see the result in 3 months. And by 6 months …. It was incredible…

Everybody was exceptional! my consultant to the surgeon and the entire staff! Very friendly and very thorough and supportive. Very accessible by giving out their cell phone numbers for any questions.

The team was awesome and experienced dedicated to working with me through the whole procedure. It was a bit more pain involved in the process than I imagined. And the recovery process is longer than the commercials elude to. But I can't wait to see how great my hair looks when I'm all healed up.
