For more context here is how I ended up as his patient. I had been using topical Minoxidil, micro needling and special shampoos consistently for about a year. I had new hair but most of it was just baby hair and I still was loosing a bunch.

So I decided to finally seek professional experience. I live in the Bay Area so my first option was someone there but it was hard to find a Dr that prioritized me and my particular concerns. Some dismissed them saying "it's normal in men for hair to start receding". I mean sure, but I rather prevent it from getting worse to the point I need a transplant. Then there was the other side that immediately pushed for a transplant, which I don't consider I need right now.

That's when I came across Dr Aguilar's social media where he talked about specialized treatment for each patient and that transplant is not the one size fits all solution (and definitely not the first approach for early stages alopecia).

I booked a first appointment online and then here I am ~8 months later extremely happy with my results, and if I need a hair transplant in the future I wouldn't look anywhere else.
