I went to Dra Maribel for my hair transplant and she did an incredible job! The whole experience was amazing from start to finish. The staff from the front desk (Karen) to the nurses and the leadership were the best. They were thorough and strong communicators before AND after the procedure. Maribel was the best and I’m extremely satisfied with the work her and her team did. If anyone is considering this procedure, I would HIGHLY recommend them. I plan on going back in 1-2 years and will only go to Dra Maribel.

This is a rather lengthy review, considering that it is broken up in several phases. At the outset, I seldom write reviews, in part, due to simple laziness. In this case, I have chosen to write one because of the nature of the procedure and of the investment. 1. Pre-restoration: As with the following phases, I found this part incredibly positive. I worked with a consultant named Juan Carlos, who was responsive and attentive to my questions and needs throughout the entire process leading up to my arrival in Bogota. I also met with Dr. Maribel Caballero virtually on two occasions to go over the procedure, expectations, and to address general questions. 2. Arrival: At my request, I met with Dr. Caballero and her team on the same day of my arrival to go over preliminary items and the procedure itself which was scheduled for the following Monday and Tuesday. Notably, I left feeling confident that I was in good hands. 3. Procedure: I was received with the same level of care that HERO had previously demonstrated. Everything felt naturally organized, with each team member having their respective roles. We took several breaks throughout both procedures including coffee and bathroom breaks. Although it may seem subtle, I was pleased to see that Dr. Caballero interacted well and in a respectful manner with her team, which I later communicated to her. In addition, the office was modern, and I noticed that hygiene was key and cultural. 4. Post-procedure: I returned on the third day for a follow-up consultation which included a cleansing and post procedure instructions. Unsurprisingly, I hit my head twice after the procedure. On the second time, I called, and they asked me to return so that they could inspect the treatment and determine if there was any damage, which was quickly ruled out. I returned for a second follow-up consultation before departing Bogota to see how I was doing and to reinforce previous instructions that had been given to me. In between the last two visits, HERO was responsive to my calls and messages. 5. Pricing: When comparing the estimate that I received in the US, I found HERO's prices reasonable and affordable. As a result, and if you couldn't tell from reading the above, I would recommend HERO Bogota to anyone that is interested in this type of procedure and/or selection of a treatment provider.

My experience with Hero Institute headed by Dr Maribel Caballero in Bogotá has been outstanding. I first experienced their services two years ago and It was excellent; the team was very profesional, the facilities and personnel were also very clean. Dr. Maribel Caballero was very knowledgeable and the results of my hair transplant were remarkable. For all these reasons I just came back to them last week and got done a second procedure to gain more hair density. This experience was as good as the first one and I'm certain my results will be excellent.
