Maxim Hair Restoration & Transplants – San Antonio

A well-organized, friendly, and professional team. The Maxim Hair Restoration crew worked diligently to achieve what I was looking for. Compared to the bosley organization, Maxim is stronger, more responsive, less expensive, and easier to access in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Team leader Josh Simpson and his teammates, Aaliya and Leith, did everything in their control to make my procedure as smooth and comfortable as possible. From the choice of music during the procedure (3 Doors Down Radio) to the awesome lunch Maxim provided, to the very clean restrooms in the facility. Everything was centered on making me feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible. Bosley, on the other hand, had technicians who were rude and impatient during the procedure.

Maxim corrected the inadequate procedure that bosley failed to deliver (over two years ago), and bosley charged more than double for much fewer implants. I still haven't heard back from Casey at bosley, on my phone calls and text messages about my concerns. When I voiced my concerns about the technicians' rude and unprofessional behavior at the Houston office, the technician office manager said she would address it. Of that, I'm pretty sure nothing came of my complaint.

Had an FUT procedure. The Staff was awesome, very skillful, friendly and kept me comfortable during the whole procedure. They even bought me lunch and asked what I preferred to eat. The main reason I decided to go with MAXIM was Aliyah Boone. She has been my main contact during this whole ordeal and helped out tremendously since day one. When I first decided to do the procedure, I had to choose between MAXIM and a local clinic in San Antonio with good reviews. Aliyah with her excellent customer skills and personality was the deciding factor in my decision. Post Surgery, I was able to call her at any time in which she offered guidance and was able to direct as to what I should expect and treatment moving forward. Dr Thiele was great and let me keep my existing hair and harvested the donor area from the back of my head. The fact the he didn't shave my head was a game changer for me. During the procedure, He was always concerned and asking me if I was experiencing any pain as the local anesthesia will wear off especially in the recipient area as the day goes on. He lowered my hair line and decided to put grafts in the front instead of the crown which I totally agreed with. I was injected with stem cells also and I am having high hopes with they results they may bring. I will update my review as we see results in the coming months. Where to begin! Wish I could give 10 stars! Had my FUE procedure done yesterday and had the most amazing experience. I’m so grateful for each and everyone from Aliyah, to Josh, to Mariah and last but not least Richelle (hopefully I spelled her name correctly) but wow such an amazing team! And at that, I sincerely believe it’s like an understatement! They are the best, I can go and on and on about how amazing they truly are. From the bottom of my heart, I can’t thank them enough. I was so comfortable as soon as I walked in, they helped calm my nerves since I was extremely nervous that I didn’t sleep much the night before. They treated me like family. They treated me for lunch (whatever I wanted), we had wonderful conversations, and great laughs which made the procedure so much easier going for me. They brought me so much peace! I really enjoyed my time with them and would recommend them to anyone and everyone who is looking for hair restoration. To my Maxim team, much love and thank you for helping me.

Was great experience. Aliyah is a rock star and Josh was awesome doing the procedure. Leav whose name I probably misspelled sorry, was a super pro at filling in the grafts. Throughout the procedure there was lots of talking laughing and having an overall good time.

It was a good overall experience, very painful, but had to be done to achieve the goals I have for myself and I would do it again under the same conditions. In my current situation I would never do it again though
