I'm at the seven-month mark and I honestly couldn't be happier with my results. My hair has filled in beautifully, and I feel like more than twenty years have been taken off my appearance. And the best part? It's not even finished yet — I'm told it continues to improve... just the past two months have seen the most improvement, and I'm looking forward to seeing it get even denser with time.
If you're considering this, just know that patience is everything. Although I had cut areas of my hair like the sides, I did not have a full haircut until six months - it takes a long time! This is not a quick fix, but if you trust the process, the results speak for themselves.

I had my hair transplant at Nova Medical on August 19, 2025, and my experience has been very positive so far. The procedure went very well, and I’m happy with the results.

My consultation with Dr. Michael Garter and Jamie was excellent. They explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable before the procedure. Yana, who worked on my hair during the transplant, was very supportive and made the whole process much easier.

After the transplant, Jamie was always there to answer my questions and address my concerns. Kathryn and Jamie were also very helpful during my follow-up, and they responded to all my questions patiently.

I was rather nervous when I first looked into hair transplants. I then stumbled upon New Jersey Hair Transplant | Nova Medical when I decided that a consultation certainly couldn’t hurt. They were very friendly and knowledgeable so I decided to pull the trigger on the procedure. It took about 8 hours for 2,000 grafts to be harvested then implanted on my hairline. The staff were very accommodating and did an excellent job in constructing a natural looking hairline. I’m excited for the results to show once the hair has grown!

Update 1:
I had to rock a Frankenstein’s Monster look for the first 2 weeks. The trickiest part was having to wear an airplane neck pillow to bed so the grafts wouldn’t accidentally get damaged. But those weeks came and went then I went back to the office for a cleanup of scabs. Now I’m able to see the beginning of my new hairline. So far so good!

I am very pleased with decision to go with the Nova Medical team. Everyone has been super professional from my fist meeting with Dr. Gartner to my follow up appointments months after my procedure. I’m at the 4 month mark now post procedure and I’m happy with the progress so far and look forward to seeing the final results.

One year in, and the Nova team and Jamie were and continue to be phenomenal. The results are 10/10, and because of their work, colleagues and friends have gone on to do their procedures with Nova.

It was an investment I do not regret, and if I could do it over at a younger age, I would have.
