I’m currently 3 days post-op from my hair transplant with Dr. Pineda in Manila (photo attached), and I can already say with confidence that choosing him was the right decision.

From the very beginning, Dr. Pineda stood out. Over the course of several months, he personally responded to my numerous emails—often within minutes. That level of accessibility and communication is almost unheard of, especially compared to other clinics I contacted.

I’ve gone to Pineda Hair Transplant Clinic twice on the past two years. The first time was to cover male pattern baldness on the top 1/3 of my head. The results were more than I expected and it looks very natural. The second visit this week was for more transplants to the crown area to fill it in more completely. Both Dr Andrew Pineda and his daughter Dr Erica Pineda are friendly and professional and thoroughly explain the procedure and what to expect. The medical assistants during the procedure were also courteous and efficient. They also provided lunch after the procedure.

Where to start… I have never received this level of support from a medical practice , or any business, for that matter. The procedure itself was six hours, but what really stood out was the support I received both before travelling to the Philippines and after returning to Australia. I was very nervous about the whole thing in the beginning.

The aftercare instructions and take-home medical regimen were second to none. Every small question I had, both before and after the procedure, was answered thoroughly and promptly, which was incredibly reassuring. Dr Pineda remains extremely responsive, even to this day.

Before having my stitches removed, I visited a doctor for an unrelated sore throat. They inspected the stitches and said it was the best stitch work they had ever seen. The surgical nurse who later removed the stitches said the same ,that it was up there with the best work she’s seen from Sydney surgeons she regularly works with. The thread was fine like silk and she said there would no be a scar. She said Dr Pinata could do facial recontraction surgery with those stitching skills. It left me feeling very confident in the work.

The team on the surgery day was also very amazing. I also compared pricing to other clinics, and the value was good too. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough.
